Meet Wembley. No, not 'Ossie's gone to Wembley, his knees have gone all trembly'. The other Wembley. Permit us to explain. If you're old enough to remember the years 1983 to 1987 and were watching children's tv, you'll know exactly what he is. He's a Fraggle. A somewhat indecisive Fraggle.

A quick primer on the world of Fraggles, for the uninitiated. Fraggles are tiny creatures, in a wide variety of colors, each with tufty tails. They live in a system of caves - that's Fraggle Rock - filled with all manner of creatures. Enjoying a carefree life, Fraggles spend most of their time playing, exploring, and having fun. Possessing the ability to 'share dreams' if they touch their heads together before falling asleep, more than one Fraggle at a time can enter a dream.

Now that we've cleared that up, a bit more about Wembley, who, as one of the core cast, had a key role to play in many of the 5 series and 96 episodes. Indecision - largely as a result of not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings - comes naturally to Wembley. In some episodes he can be seen working as a Fraggle fireman, as the team's siren. Wembley is a mustardy shade of yellow.

The maniacal cave-dwellers of Fraggle Rock were the inspiration of the late Jim Henson, the genius puppeteer behind the Muppets, Sesame Street and a host of other comic creations. And now one can have one - or up to three if one so desires - on the end of one's bed. Just don't turn the lights out. For we believe they're wickedly fraggle-tastic.
