Mr T In Your Pocket
Gadget No. 0364
What is there to say about Mr T that hasn't already been said countless times? We'll spare you the tabloid stuff, of course, and stick with the facts.
Born Laurence Turead, Mr T - as he is personally and professionally known - shot to fame in the late 1970s as a professional body guard before starring in Rocky III, which, as any self-respecting A-Team fanatic should know, is the point of origin of that most famous catch-phrase "I pity the fool."
His arrival on our small screens from 1983 onwards in the guise of Sergeant Bosco B.A. Baracus - where B.A. incidentally, stands for 'Bad Attitude - sealed his fate as one of TV's icons of that much-loved televisual decade.
So to Mr T In Your Pocket, and, like the best of product names, it does exactly what it says on the tin. It's not a small mannequin, perfectly rendering the man himself, but rather a perfect rendering of his voice, in the form of six of his all-time sayings. One can easily guess what they are, fool.
Each saying is individually triggered by one of a set of six small buttons located below a high quality speaker. So, to simply stop someone from messing with one's van, or to express pity for a foolish person, you know exactly what to do. And the perfectly-rendered voice of Mr T himself will boom out across your workplace.
"I ain't gittin' on no plane." We couldn't have put it better ourselves.
