Call us old fashioned, but here at gadgetshop HQ we just can't stop ourselves from loving a bit of octogenarian racing. And if it involves grannies, so much the better. This game takes the concept of Hot Granny-Racing Action and elevates it to a new plane altogether. In fact, it is the veritable Himalayan peak of the granny racing fraternity.

Build the 26" oval track in just a couple of moments, then instruct the wheelchair-bound grannies to get into the groove. Next, with remote controllers in hand, you and a top chum can duel to the death as the grannies are propelled to their doom... or at least the dreaded crossover section, where many an old crone will meet her fate.

However, a word of warning. This device is clearly from a new generation of Granny Racing games with which the health and safety squad have clearly been meddling. For clip-on safety barriers have been designed to save gran from a nasty fall. But doing battle with the Laws of Motion themselves is not for the feint-hearted - and centrifugal force will have its way in the end.
