Rather than accumulating a fetching mound of cash, a completely computerised Chip & Pin Centre does all the banking, enabling competitors to make credits and debits to fund their spree across London. The capital, too, has had a makeover and alongside the familiar names of old money there are new entries in the geographical stakes.

The new, flash, loadsamoney Monopoly is dangerously addictive, especially for a generation grown 'expert' on Property Ladder and Location, Location.
