Now, thanks to some particularly inspired gadgeteering, a solution is at hand, and it's a dashed clever one at that. Think of it as a little landing strip for your toilet. When affixed to the underside of your toilet lid, proximity sensors on this revolutionary device instruct a set of tiny LEDs to glow whenever they see a body approaching.

Glowing red when the seat is up and green when it's down, they'll guide one into position for a Number One with discreet light that won't catastrophically rouse you from your slumber - and will keep your little lady happy the next morning when she deals with the consequences.
