Put yourself and your money at the centre of your universe. If saving is a proving a stumbling block in your life, and you're struggling for a creative place to put spare coppers, or those 20 pence pieces you're saving to put towards next summer's trip to the Epcot Centre (which is where we at Gadgetshop HQ like to go), we've found a rather elegant solution. In fact it's truly out of this world. The aptly-titled 'Youniverse' electronic money box is a child's dream come true. And, frankly, it works equally well for adults, too. Encouraging saving and simultaneously registering the number of coins inserted into the box, it has a spectacularly luminescent and spacey feel for a very worthy and down-to-earth application. And it beats the pants off those everyday piggy banks in the shape of footballs, post boxes and even piggies. Simply splendid.
