Now this really is amazing. I know we do rather say that a lot, but this time we really mean it. No, really. It's not every day that one gets to carry some ground-breaking gizmology with one. But this is one such occasion. And the iWallet is one such device.

It looks like a plush black leather wallet. It performs all its plush black wallet-type functionality - storing the notes and credit cards of the realm - with real aplomb. But it's for its other visual properties that this new gadget is a real winner.

Safely sheathed in protective leather at the heart of the wallet is a slim, miniature LCD picture viewer capable of storing up to 16MB of images that can be changed on demand. One can even adjust the interval between images to between 2.5 and 10 seconds by using the viewer's integral slide show function.

To upload new images or edit one's gallery, simply remove the slim viewing card and connect directly to one's PC, whereupon it also begins recharging. Easy.

And, despite its inherent simplicity and functional beauty, the iWallet goes even further, enabling you to record a message to accompany each image - turning the humble wallet into a receptacle of multimedia memories. Magic.
