There was a time, when men in suits made programmes for children, that Bill and Ben were big on Watch with Mother. They were flower pot men, you see. And they had a flower that looked not unlike this.

Then, in the late 1980s, there was a dancing flower craze with a flower design that looked not unlike this. But that was all a long time ago, and long before The Talented Mr Jobs brought forth his iPod and created a legion of people all happy to be wearing exactly the same headphones. Clever.

Back to the flower and her unique, and some might say uncanny ability to dance, to move and groove as it were, to the sound of the music being pumped through its small but perfectly formed speaker.

And boy, can this flower shift. It will not only bop along to your 'phat beats' (as Simon here in the office calls them) but will spin through 360 degrees, stop on the beat and even change its tempo in perfect time with your music. Simply connect an iPod or any electronic music source and watch it strut its funky stuff. Amazing. And strangely hypnotic.

The Movin' & Groovin' Flower puts Bill and Ben in the shade. Which, in their old 405-line black and white way, is a shame. But that's progress.
