How we simply love DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince here at gadgetshop HQ. This is to do with nothing in particular, other than the title of their last collaborative work together, a work entitled Boom Shake the Room. This piece is startlingly reminiscent of what will happen should you oversleep and be in the presence of the Bomb Clock.

It does, like our friend Ronseal, exactly what it says on the tin. There will be a boom. And it will shake the room. There.

Designed to rouse even the most determined of Rumplestiltskins from their slumber, this timebomb of a timepiece features a menacing red glowing LED display... which serves as a cunning clue as to what will follow if its instructions are not obeyed to the letter.

Just before the inevitable early morning explosion (from the clock, that is) the device begins to emit a dastardly and repetitive tick-tock, which, like the legendary Countdown clock reaches its conclusion in a cacophony of noise.

One then has just a few seconds to defuse the device before it rains-down an almighty Hell upon you and anyone unfortunate enough to be in bed beside you. More fool them for selecting a bedfellow with such poor early-morning dexterity.
