We at gadgetshop HQ handled this product rather nervously. With the manufacturer's tagline being 'Boys are stupid. Throw rocks at them', and an equally endearing 'Boys are smelly' adorned on the otherwise innocent looking fan, we feared it may somehow detect man hands and spontaneously combust.

Yet we needn't have feared. In spite of it's lairy messaging, this nifty little gadget is actually rather charming and now takes pride of place on our colleague Simon's desk (next to the Microwaveable Teddy Bear and the Pink Cushtie Pillow).

This somewhat cute desk fan provides a chill blast of Arctic air into one's visage, de-stressing and de-misting on even the most humid of deskbound August days. Battery powered, it's uber portable.

Despite its digital pedigree, it has old-style analogue controls at heart. Deftly flick the switch on the front - and there. Instant relief from global warming. And of course smelly boys. For about 20 years.
