Everything's coming up roses in our Italian Sunken Garden here at gadgetshop HQ. We've put our colleague Simon to work in his lunch hour while we all slope off for an Appletiser or two. And the results, with the help of this ultra-helpful gardening set, are a profusion of pinkness.

You see, this is a cleverly-compiled gardening set in a fetching shade of girly pink. Carefully thought-out and lovingly put together, it has everything a budding green-fingered goddess might need around the garden.

Now, we'll grant you, this doesn't have the wherewithal for serious ground maintenance and earth moving. For that you'll need a man. Or preferably, a JCB. But it will get you into the advanced class when it comes to a delicate bit of lady gardening.

The kit is a proverbial box of delights featuring no less than a trowel, a fork, a pair of secateurs, a dibber, a ball of string, some heavy-duty gardening gauntlets and some lighter-duty girly gloves, the whole assembly is topped-off with the thoughtful addition of some après-gardening moisturiser.

Even the carrying case can be put to good use as a trug and kneeling pad. Percy Thrower wouldn't have it, of course. He kneeled on the hard ground. With his knees. But, then again, he's not your girlfriend. So that's alright then.
