We at gadgetshop HQ are partial to a bit of Scalextric racing now and then. We frequent a special Scalextric venue where the track occupies the entire room. Unfortunately attempting to pack the contents of the entire room to take with us on our annual gadgetshop team building trip to Margate proved rather unsuccessful.

So we were overjoyed to find our racing needs would not be denied us with the help of this handy gizmo. Race in a Case does exactly as it says on the box. Simply open up the case, put the cars on the track, plug in the generators and race. It's the quickest racing game set up ever. What's more, there are no batteries or mains.

The cars run by hand powered controllers. With no messy wires traipsing about the room and no electricity use required, this is one eco-friendly, uber tidy toy. Includes a lap counter so you can keep score on who is winning and have your own competition. Spiffing.
